The Mines and Geosciences Bureau Regional Office No. XIII participated in the Mindanao Communicators Network Regional Congress (Caraga Leg) on April 29 to 30, 2024 at VCDU Prince Hotel in Butuan City.
Organized by the Mindanao Development Authority and the Philippine Information Agency Caraga, the said event aimed at reviving the Mindanao Communicators Network, a group of Information Officers and Public Relations Practitioners pursuing strategic communication exchanges and advocacy of various Mindanao imperatives. Moreover, the event served as an avenue wherein issues and topics of national relevance were tackled.
A considerable number of Information Officers and Public Relations Practitioners from various National Government Agencies and Local Government Units participated in the two-day learning event which comprised sessions, discussions and a workshop on advancing a new narrative for Caraga Region and Mindanao. The event culminated in a press conference.
